The eighteenth event for the SITS Trainers Network was hosted as an online event during Thursday 8th December 2022 11:00hrs-12:15hrs (via Microsoft Teams).

The online event presented and discussed a range of topics with regards to how SITS-based training at many of our Institutions has needed to change in order to adapt to a hybrid style of working.

The agenda for the event was as follows:

11:00 – 12:15 Presentations and Discussions: Changing our training approaches.
Strategies, approaches and tools used by institutions to deliver online SITS training (eLearning, videos, guides, live demos, training support etc).

– Customer-focused teams & bespoke online SITS training materials
– Investigating further eLearning tools/approaches

Linda Bathgate (University of Dundee)
– Teaching SITS processes without being too technical or using too much IT-jargon

Karen Wilson (Liverpool Hope University)
– Training via Zoom
– Staff changes, turnover and retention
– Changing the culture & encouraging staff to explore continual training
