The fifth event of the SITS Trainers Network was organised by Dr. Richard Clark (University of London International Programmes, Mr. John Davis (University of Wolverhampton) and Mr. Matthew Taylor (University of Edinburgh).

Introduction and Welcome

Members of the SITS Trainers Network (STN) were welcomed to the University of Edinburgh by Barry Neilson, Director of Student Systems. The group also thanked Matthew Taylor for arranging the venue for the event.

• Dr. Richard Clark and Mr. John Davis: “Welcome, Introductions and STN Updates”.
• Mr. Matthew Taylor (University of Edinburgh): “Training needs analysis at Edinburgh, for students & staff using Client Server & e:Vision”.

Group Workshop: Creating a Collaborative Framework Training Manual

• Plan a training template to share with community of trainers and with Tribal.
• STN to plan content, contributors, editors and agreed actions going forward.
• The workshop produced a contents list for an ‘Introduction to SITS:Vision Client Server’ collaborative manual.
